Well, hello there….

With that in mind, i’ve got a little something to warm the cockles of your heart (amongst other things), THE Saturday Night Preachers!
We are well on our way to being accidentally covered by national news! We were on stage and playing 30 yds away during “The Great Party on the Pavement’s – Ferris Wheel Debacle of 2010” (which I saw on CNN, with no reference to THE Saturday Night Preachers ) oh well.
We’ve got some shows coming up and some studio time set aside, let’s get to the business:
-Oct 23rd (4-5pm) – Yardarm Bar and Grill – Racine, WI – Octoberfest for Fisher (http://fischerhansen.org/index)
-Oct 30th (private) – Wedding. Tom Reschke is marrying the lovely Amanda Olson. talk amongst yourselves.
-Nov 6th – (9pm-12am) – Evelyn’s on Main – Racine, WI – This is a great place to see the upclose inner workings of the SNP! We’ll be requesting that Kathy does not remove the Bears banner from above where we’re playing that night.
-Nov 14th – Stu -Stu-Studio! “It’s gonna happen, it’s gonna happen, baaaaby…….but it hasn’t happened yet.” (name that song and Norm buys you a big boy drink next time he sees you!)
-Nov 19th – ( 9pm) – McAulliffe’s Pub on Meachem (http://www.mcauliffespub.com) w/the Whiskey Belles – We’re really psyched about this one, we’re all fans of this band! check them out! (http://www.myspace.com/thewhiskeybelles)
-Nov 27th – (7pm-11pm) – Yardarm Bar & Grill – The turkey has digested, “Black Friday” is done and gone, if you haven’t seen a Buck yet this deer season, come see one with the SNP at one of our favorite venues to provide entertainment.

We want to thank Mr.”Rockin” Russ Weller of WGTD 91.1 for having the Saturday Night Preachers on The Area Beat. The band recorded 6 songs live in the studio with some tough jounalistic badgering by Russ (he got Papa Pratt to talk on air!!!). We had a great time and the show should be airing the week of 10/20 on HD3 91.1 @ 8:00pm. Stay tuned and let them know how much we appreciate coverage of live & local music !!!!!
Well folks, I’m headed out for a walk. Nights like these only come around once a year.
